Zacharias Stoufis

Zacharias Stoufis was born in 1974 on the island of Zakynthos. As an extension of his poetic work, which centers on death, he delves into the thanatology of Zakynthos. He explores death through the folklore, philology, history, and contemporary society of his island. In parallel, he stages theatrical performances and productions based on his writings. His texts have also been dramatized by other artists. Since 1995, he has lived and worked in Attica. Since 2006, his poems have been included in two poetry anthologies, three thematic poetry anthologies, and in anthologies of the magazines O Sisyphos and Odos Panos.
