Eirini Katsipi - Spyridaki

Eirini Katsipi - Spyridaki was born in Santorini and is a primary education teacher. She studied at the Arsakeio Pedagogical Academy of Psychiko and the Law School of the University of Athens. She furthered her education at the Marasleio Teaching School of Primary Education and has attended numerous seminars and training programs. In the field of education, she has focused particularly on environmental protection and the preservation of cultural heritage. She began her writing career by creating role-playing game scripts, poems, and theatrical plays for school celebrations and performances. She has participated in literary competitions and received honorary distinctions. In 1999, she received an accolade from the "Parnassos" Literary Society for her ethnographic novel "The Two Stones," and in 2006 and 2007, she was awarded by the Women's Literary Society for her historical novels "Journey to the Queen City" and "On the Path of the Sun." She is married and the mother of two daughters.
