Theotokis Zervos was born in Corfu in 1943. After studying in Thessaloniki, he continues to live and work in Corfu. He is a doctor specializing in radiology. He has published several works, including "Counterpoint" (Keimena 1971-72), "Poems" (Exantas 1978), "Murder on a Replica" (Porphyra 1984), "Plagiarist" (Keimena 1987), and "Voluntary Descent" (Epsilon 1991, 1993). His poems have been featured in numerous literary magazines such as Tram, Dokimasia, Literary Citizen, Porphyra, among others. His work has been translated into Italian, French, Polish, and Serbian. Influenced by the first post-war generation, known as the "generation of defeat," and having experienced exile himself, like many other Greek citizens during the dictatorship, Zervos presents existential, emotional, and lyrical poetry that reflects a sense of disillusionment and the anxiety over the universal alienation of our times.
