Dimitris K. Mayroskoufis
Dimitris K. Mavroskoufis is a Professor of Teaching Methodology and History of Education in the Department of Philosophy and Pedagogy at the School of Philosophy of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. His teaching, research, and writing focus primarily on Teaching Methodology, the Teaching Methodology of History, the History of Education, Historical Pedagogy, and Educational Policy. Among other works, he has authored the books "School History in Secondary Education (1975-1995): The Post-Junta Version of the Sisyphean Myth" (Thessaloniki: Kyriakidis Brothers 1997), "Students' and University Students' Experiences and Views on the History Course: Theoretical Issues and Empirical Research" (Thessaloniki: Kyriakidis Brothers 1999), "A Soldier in the Civil War (1945-1949): The Contribution of Microhistory to the Detection and Analysis of Experiential Aspects of Daily Life" (Thessaloniki: Kyriakidis Brothers 2000), and "Tracing the Footprints of History: Historiography, Teaching Methodology, and Historical Sources" (Thessaloniki: Kyriakidis Brothers 2005).
