Ioannis M. Fykaris

Ioannis Fykaris is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Primary Education at the University of Ioannina, specializing in "Teaching Methodology." He was born in Thessaloniki. He graduated from the Pedagogical Academy of Mytilene and the Department of Primary Education at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He holds the European Diploma of Education and Teacher's Training from the European Union and a Master's Degree from the Department of Philosophy and Pedagogy at the School of Philosophy of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, where he also earned his Ph.D. in Philosophy. He has served as a primary education teacher, Head of Environmental Education for Primary Education in the Prefecture of Chalkidiki, and School Counselor for Primary Education in the Prefecture of Pieria. He has also taught at the Universities of Western Macedonia and Thessaly and authored eight pedagogically oriented books, with several of his articles published in reputable Greek and international scientific journals.
