Eleni Margari

Born in Ioannina, she graduated in 1998 from the Department of History and Archaeology at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, specializing in Archaeology and Art History. She completed her postgraduate studies in Modern Art History and earned her Ph.D. with a dissertation titled "Women in Greek Sculpture of the 20th Century: Symbolisms and Realities" (2009). She worked as an art historian at the Ministry of Culture, where she curated temporary exhibitions and participated in the design and implementation of educational programs. She has taught art history at the University of Ioannina and the Technological Educational Institute of Western Greece. Her scholarly articles focus on modern sculpture, and she has contributed articles on Art History to daily and periodical publications, as well as texts for exhibition catalogs of many contemporary Greek artists.
