Mark Millar

Mark Millar was born in Scotland, near Glasgow, in 1969. He made his debut in the comics industry in 1990 with "Saviour" for "Trident Comics." In the early 1990s, Millar worked on the renowned "2000 AD" until his writing talent caught the attention of "DC Comics." There, he wrote the script for "Swamp Thing," but he achieved success and recognition in 2000 with the series "The Authority" and the mini-series "Superman: Red Son." Millar then transitioned to "Marvel" to work on the new series "Ultimates" and "Ultimate X-Men," which marked the birth of the "Ultimate Universe." Millar is now one of the key writers at "Marvel" and is responsible for many successful series, such as "Marvel Knights Spider-Man," "Wolverine" (with illustrator John Romita Jr.), and "Ultimate Fantastic Four." His most recent success and most significant work is "Civil War," which shook the foundations of the entire "Marvel" universe.
