Giorgos Liolios

Giorgos Liolios (Veria, 1968) studied journalism and law. He lives in Veria, where he works as a lawyer. He is actively involved in researching the history of Judaism in Greece. His writings on the Jewish community of Veria have been published in various print magazines (in Greece and Serbia), online platforms, and in the commemorative volume on the Holocaust of the Jews of Greece. A series of thematic publications on the history of Judaism in Veria (from Hellenistic times to the 20th century), as well as on other places with a Jewish presence, is already in the process of being published.
