Giannis Eythymiadis

Yannis Efthymiades was born in 1969 in Piraeus. He studied philology and ancient Greek drama. He has published the poetry collections: "Stigma" (private edition, 2004), "Kainos Divider" (Nefeli 2007), "Letters to the Prince" (Mikri Arktos 2010), "27 or The Man Who Falls" (Mikri Arktos 2012), "On Your Body" (Mikri Arktos 2014), and the essay "Twelve Texts in Conversation with Odysseas Elytis' 'Monogram'" (Calligrapher 2014). He has translated English and American poets. His poems have been included in anthologies and translated into English. He works as an educator, has published philological books for secondary education, and collaborates with literary publications and the online radio station "Metadeftero" (http://www.metadeftero.gr/).
