Katerina Kofina

Katerina Kofina was born in Athens in 1968 and currently resides in Salamina. After high school, she began working in the private sector. She started writing poetry at the age of 27. Four of her poems were included in a poetry anthology published by the cultural movement "Rhythms of Salamina," of which she was a member. She has also published the anthology "New Salaminian Poets," published by Stochastis in 1999. In 1995, she participated as an active member of the Salamina Film Club, and since 1997, she has been writing for the local newspaper "Anatropes," contributing to the cinema column. At the age of 31, she wrote her first novel. "The Transformation of the Butterfly" is her second novel.
