Tom McCarthy

Tom McCarthy was born in 1969 and lives in London. He has gained recognition through his reports, manifestos, and media interventions as the General Secretary of INS, an avant-garde literary movement that navigates between reality and fiction. His first novel, "Remainder," was initially rejected by many English publishers as uncommercial and was first published in 750 copies by the eccentric Metronome Press. Today, it is published by some of the world's largest publishing houses: Alma Books, Time Warner, Vintage, Hachette, and Mondadori.
