Kostas Sardelis

Kostas Sardelis was born in 1932 in Mytikas, Aetolia-Acarnania. He studied political science in Athens. He began his journalism career at the age of 20, and at 23, he wrote the work "The Saint of the Slaves." He is one of the oldest members of the Hellenic Union of Editors of Periodical Press (E.S.H.E.A.), a member of the Board of Directors of the National Society of Greek Writers, and a member of the Governing Committee of the Palamas Foundation. His works have been awarded the Academy of Athens Prize, the Hellenic Society of Christian Letters Prize, and two State Prizes.
