Sebastian Fitzek was born in 1971 and is the most successful psychological thriller author in Germany. His first novel, "The Therapy," was released in 2006 and immediately became a bestseller. Since then, his books have been published in 37 countries and have sold over 19 million copies worldwide, with many adapted for film, television, and theater. In 2017, he became the first German author to be honored with the European Prize for Crime Fiction. Sebastian Fitzek lives with his family in Berlin.
