Elsa Korneti

Born in Munich in 1969, she studied Economics at the University of Macedonia and the University of Trier in Germany. She worked as a journalist for a decade and regularly publishes essays, book reviews, translations, and other texts. She was twice nominated for the State Poetry Prize for her works "A Bouquet of Fishbones" (2009) and "Canned Pearl" (2011). Her poetry collection "Ordinary People with a Crest and a Motley Tail" was awarded the "Giorgos Karter" prize by Porphyra magazine in 2013. Her unpublished poetry collection "Hidden" received the first prize "Kouros of Evros" from the Macedonian Art Society "Techni" in 2015. Her poems have been included in Greek and international anthologies and have been translated and published in 10 languages.
