
THanasis Moutsopoulos
Thanasis Moutsopoulos studied at the School of Architecture of the National Technical University of Athens and the Graduate School of Design at Harvard University. He participated in a multimedia studio at the Center for Advanced Visual Studies at MIT. He has authored the books "Does It Look Like a Human? Anthropomorphism, Abstraction, and Stylization in Mass Culture," "No Feelings: Visual Punk," "David Carson: After the Destruction," and "What's Up? The Images of Panos Koutroubousis," among others. He has curated art and architectural exhibitions and exhibition catalogs. From 1999 to 2004, he taught Art History and Cultural Geography at the Department of Architecture at the University of Patras, from 2004 to 2007, he taught History and Theory of Art and Architecture at the School of Architecture of the National Technical University of Athens, and since 2008, he has been teaching courses on Art History and Urban Culture at the Department of Architecture at the Technical University of Crete in Chania. He writes articles on architecture and visual arts for newspapers and magazines.
