Panagiotis Pagalos
Panagiotis Pagkalos (b. 1972, Athens) is an architect and holds a doctorate from the University of Patras. His extensive research focuses on the concept of time in architecture from the Enlightenment to the present day. In his dissertation, publications, and conference presentations, architecture becomes a "meeting place" for history, sociology, and philosophy. He has been awarded in international architectural competitions. In 2000, he founded the five-member group "expiry architecture" in Italy, a team of architects that studies and designs spaces with a primary focus on the "lifespan" and "expiration date" of materials.
