Stef Penney

Stef Penney was born and raised in Edinburgh. She studied theology and philosophy at the University of Bristol. She also studied film and television and later turned to directing. To date, she has written the screenplay and directed two films. Stef Penney was honored with two Costa Awards in 2006 (formerly Whitbread): Best Novel and Best First Novel.
