Panos Kouros
Panos Kouros is a visual artist and an assistant professor at the Department of Architecture at the University of Patras. His work spans various areas that connect art criticism with architecture, urban culture, and the politics of memory. It includes proposals, installations, curatorial activities, and theoretical studies, and has been showcased and recognized in numerous international art exhibitions. He holds a Ph.D. in Architecture from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He has served as a researcher at the Center for Advanced Visual Studies (C.A.V.S.) at MIT and has taught courses on environmental art and the aesthetics of ruins at the MIT School of Architecture, the Massachusetts College of Art and Design, and the Boston Architectural Center. He has published numerous articles and studies on issues of contemporary art, education, and media culture.
