Afroditi Kamara

Aphrodite Kamara, a historian-researcher, graduated from the Department of History and Archaeology at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. She completed her postgraduate studies in England (Manchester and Oxford), focusing primarily on the religious and social history of Syria and the Middle East in late antiquity. From 1999 to 2005, she worked as a researcher-historian at the Foundation of the Hellenic World, with which she maintains an external collaboration. Within this collaboration, she has particularly engaged with the history of Asia Minor and Syria in antiquity. In 2003, she became a founding member of the company Time Heritage O.E., which operates in the field of cultural heritage management by organizing seminars and providing conservation services, archaeometric analyses, and educational material production. She has participated in international conferences with presentations and has collaborated with the "Historicals" of "Eleftherotypia" and the "Tours" of "Imerisia."
