Georgios Stavropoulos is the eldest son of a large family with 13 siblings, born to Konstantinos and Georgia, née Mousa. He was born in 1927 in Oinoi, Ilia Prefecture. He completed his high school education in the village under challenging conditions. From a young age, he offered assistance to his fellow villagers with any clerical needs free of charge, as well as to the local presidents, since there was no secretary until 1954. In 1959, encouraged by the residents, he was elected president of the community. Georgios Stavropoulos is a contributor to local newspapers such as "Patris," "Avgi," "Proini," "Enimerosi," and "Elefthero Vima," maintaining a rich archive of articles and interventions in other newspapers on social, political, and international issues.
