M. Dow Lambert III

Over his 20-year academic career, Dow wrote or contributed to 19 research publications in the social sciences, developed course and training programs for social services workers, and conducted long-term studies on human behavior. In 1995, he transitioned from academia to the private sector, working for a small company that developed and maintained reservation systems for travel agencies. There, he learned the differences between writing research reports for scientific journals, drafting technical specifications for developers, and creating user manuals for people who needed to understand and use the company's software. In his free time, Dow and his wife Marlene enjoy birdwatching and photography.
