
Kostas Vrachnos
Kostas Vrachnos was born in Kalamata in 1975. He is a graduate of the Faculty of Philosophy (1998) and the Faculty of Theology (2008) at the University of Athens and holds a Ph.D. in Philosophy from the Faculty of Philosophy at the University of Salamanca (doctoral thesis topic: La meditatio mortis en Miguel de Unamuno, 2003). He has published the poetry collections "El hambre del cocinero" (Juan de Mairena, y de libros, Lucena/Cordoba, 2008) and "Encima del subsuelo" (Point de Lunettes, Sevilla, 2014), as well as the essay "The Mystery as a Problem" (Oi Ekdoseis ton Filon, Athens, 2010). He has anthologized and translated works by, among others, Carlos Edmundo de Ory, Aesop, Juan Vicente Piqueras, Miguel Labordeta, and Oliverio Girondo. He is a regular contributor to the magazine Frear.
