Geert Mak

Geert Mak was born in 1946 in Friesland, Netherlands. He worked for many years in journalism. His books have achieved great success in his homeland and have been translated into many countries around the world. Recently, he was honored with the German award "Leipziger Buchpreis zur Europäischen Verständigung 2008" for the contribution of his books to better understanding among the nations of Europe.
