Ntora Iliopoulou - Rogan
Dora Iliopoulou-Rogan holds a Ph.D. in Art History from the University of Paris and is a graduate of the university's 5th Department of Postgraduate Studies. She teaches Art History and simultaneously works as an art critic. She has authored 30 art books, numerous artist monographs in exhibition catalogs, and four collections of short stories. She has collaborated on art topics with many magazines in Greece and abroad and maintained an art criticism column in the newspaper "Kathimerini" from 1974 to 1990. She has presented art programs on Greek television and radio and served as a commissioner for the Greek government at exhibitions in the USA, France, Romania, and Cyprus. She has organized numerous solo and group art exhibitions in Greece and internationally. She has taught Art History at the American College of Agia Paraskevi, the State School of Dance, and the Drama School of the National Theatre. From 1982 to 2003, she was the artistic advisor for the National Bank of Greece. She has participated with presentations in many conferences and art symposia in Greece and abroad. In 1985, the French government awarded her the title of Chevalier des Arts et Lettres, and in 1994, she was promoted to Officier des Arts et Lettres. She is a member of the Greek and International Association of Art Critics, the International UNESCO Group "Art and Environment," the Hellenic Society of Aesthetics, among others.
