Dimitris S. Alexiou

Dimitris Alexiou was born in Athens in 1974. His family hails from Agrinio and Skyros. He graduated from the Athens Law School, where he studied legal sciences, in 1995. Simultaneously, he served as a member, president, and artistic director of the Greek Folk Dance Group "Eleni Tsaouli" from 1991 to 2005, teaching Greek dances and participating in educational programs on Greek folk traditions for elementary school children. He is a lawyer and lives in Athens with his wife, Kary Aerikou, who is also a lawyer, and their two daughters.
