Forrest Carter

The American author Forrest Carter was born in 1925 in Alabama and passed away in 1979. In addition to "The Education of Little Tree," he wrote the novels "The Rebel Outlaw: Josey Wales" and "The Vengeance Trail of Josey Wales," as well as the fictional biography of the last Apache leader Geronimo, "Watch for Me on the Mountain."
