
Sonia Borg
Sonia Borg was born in Vienna, Austria, and studied dramatic arts in Germany after World War II. In 1951, she moved to India and later became a member of Shakespeareana International, a theater company touring Asia. Upon her arrival in Australia in 1961, she worked as an acting teacher with Crawford Productions and later became a casting director, eventually advancing to scriptwriter and producer. As an independent screenwriter, she has created a series of one-act plays produced for the Australian Broadcasting Commission and collaborated on television series such as Rush, Power without Glory, and I Can Jump Puddles. Recently, she adapted for the screen the books "Stormboy" and "Blue Fin" by Colin Thiele and "Dusty" by Dalby Davidson.
