Ioannis Mpakalis

Giannis Bakalis was born in 1961. He holds a degree from the Department of Journalism and Mass Media at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. At a young age, he excelled in the fields of sales and insurance, and he has organized two fashion shows with the family clothing business. For a period, he worked as a political editor. He is currently employed as a real estate agent. He has published 8 books, one of which is also available in English. Additionally, he has participated twice in the Thessaloniki Documentary Festival. He is a member of the Greek Directors' Guild and the Union of Writers of Northern Greece. He is a Knight of the Order of St. John. He served as president of the Greek-American Youth Friendship Association, vice president of the Lions Youth, and press officer for the De La Salle College Alumni Association. He has published eleven books, one of which was in England. Two of his novels have a literary agent in Hollywood.
