Reza Aslan

The distinguished Iranian thinker and religious studies scholar Reza Aslan was born in 1972 in Tehran. During the Iranian Revolution in 1979, he moved to America, where he continues to reside. He holds a master's degree in theological studies from Harvard University and a doctorate in the sociology of religions from the University of California. His articles have been published in various outlets, including the "Los Angeles Times," "New York Times," "Slate," "Boston Globe," "Washington Post," "Guardian," "Chicago Tribune," among others. His first book, "No god but God," has been translated into many languages. "Zealot" was released in America in 2013 and is being translated into more than 35 languages.
