Michael Dobbs

Michael Dobbs, Lord of Wylye, was born on November 14, 1948, in Cheshunt, Great Britain. He studied at the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University in Massachusetts, USA, and graduated with an MA, MALD, and PhD. He holds a doctorate in nuclear defense. In 1977, he returned to England and began working in London for the Conservative Party. He was an associate of Margaret Thatcher as well as her successor, John Major. He has been a television presenter for the BBC and a columnist for the Mail on Sunday. He lives with his wife and their four children in Wiltshire.
