Anthoula Daniil

Born and raised in Athens, the author studied Philology at the University of Athens, pursued further education at SELME, and graduated with honors. She received her Ph.D. in Modern Greek Philology with unanimous distinction. She served in public education and at the Central Service of the Ministry of Education, where she was involved in the editing and publication of the children's magazine "Aerostato," aimed at Greek children abroad. She collaborates with private schools to update colleagues on topics related to Language and Literature. She also worked with the Pedagogical Institute on the writing of the books Expression-Composition for the third grade of Lyceum (under the team of Nikos Grigoriadis) and Essay - Creative Speech (under the supervision of Giorgos Babiniotis). She collaborated with the Pedagogical Institute on the DVD "Twelve Greek Writers," selecting and writing texts and editing. She selected material and narrated the tribute to Stratis Myrivilis for the Educational Television of ERT. Additionally, together with Angeliki Korkovelou, she wrote the book "The Greek Cinema" for IDEKE. She has been a member of judging panels for Literature and Language books. She traveled for educational purposes to Cairo and Alexandria, Burundi, and Brussels. She taught Language-Expression and Literature at various educational centers (Athens, Piraeus, Mytilene, Cyclades, etc.). She participated in numerous seminars, conferences, workshops, tributes, and book presentations. She has published books on poets Giorgos Seferis and Odysseas Elytis, as well as studies on poetry and prose in general. Her articles, studies, and book reviews are published in newspapers and magazines. She is a member of the Panhellenic Association of Philologists.
