Dimitris Daskalopoulos
Dimitris Daskalopoulos was born in Athens in 1957. He studied business administration at the Athens University of Economics and Business and holds an MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management. He served as the President of the Hellenic Federation of Enterprises (SEV) from 2006 to 2014. In the preceding four years (2002-2006), he held the position of Vice President and has been a member of its board of directors since 1989. He is a member of the boards of the National Bank of Greece and the Mytilineos Group. Additionally, he has been a member of the European Round Table of Industrialists (ERT) since 1998 and, as an active art collector, is part of the International Directors' Council of the Guggenheim Museum and the Tate Gallery. He has served as Chairman and CEO of DELTA Holdings, Chairman of Vivartia ABEE (formed from the merger of DELTA Holdings with DELTA Dairy, Goody's, General Foods, and Chipita), Chairman of the Federation of Hellenic Food Industries (SEVT) from 1999 to 2006 (a board member since 1988), and a board member of the Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) from 1996 to 2000.
