Giorgos K. PSaltis

Giorgos Psaltis was born in Athens in 1969. His first poetry collection, "Return to the Unified Country" (Ikaros Publishing, 2008), was shortlisted for the 2009 Debut Author Award by the magazine "Diavazo." His second collection, "Please Do Not Dig Here, a Dog is Buried," was released in 2011, also by Ikaros. He wrote the libretto "The Hour of the Last Supper" and the stasima for "The Passion According to Mark" for musical works by F. Tsalahouris, which were presented in 2012 and 2016 at the Benaki Museum. In 2015, his play "Poppy Seeds" (Koukoutsi Publishing) was presented at the Theatrical Reading Festival at the Art Theatre.
