Jeff Kinney

Jeff (Jeffrey) Kinney was born in 1971 in Fort Washington, Maryland, USA. He spent his childhood in Washington and moved to New England in 1995. Kinney is a designer of online games, author, illustrator, and producer of children's books, best known for the "Diary of a Wimpy Kid" series, which was first created online in 2004 and later published in print. He currently resides in southern Massachusetts with his wife, Julie, and their two sons, Will and Grant. In 2009, he was included in Time magazine's list of the "100 Most Influential People in the World."
