Margaret Peterson Haddix has written a series of highly successful novels for young readers. Her books have received numerous awards, and she has been voted as the favorite young adult author in twenty-eight states across America. She graduated from Miami University, where she studied creative writing, journalism, and history, and has worked as a journalist and teacher. She lives in Columbus, Ohio, with her husband Doug and their two children, Meredith and Connor.
