
Joe Hill
Joe Hill was born Joseph Hillstrom King in Bangor, Maine, USA, in 1972, as the second son of authors Stephen and Tabitha King. He made his debut in horror literature with his award-winning short story collection, "20th Century Ghosts," in 2005. However, it was his first novel in 2007 that not only brought him wider recognition but also established him as one of the most talked-about authors in the genre. His debut novel, "Heart-Shaped Box," won the Bram Stoker Award and the Horror Writers Association Award for Best Novel by a New Writer in 2007, as well as the Locus Award. It remained on bestseller lists for an extended period, was included in the best books of 2007 lists by Amazon.com, "Publishers Weekly," and the "Observer," and its rights were sold in over 30 countries.
