Maria Georgala - Kartoudi

Maria Georgala-Kartoudi was born in Vouliagmeni, Attica. She studied sociology at Panteion University, Business Administration at the Piraeus University of Applied Sciences, and Journalism. She completed her postgraduate studies in Paris in the field of Communication and Information. She has worked as a journalist, with her articles published in newspapers and magazines. In addition, she has worked as a lecturer at the Piraeus University of Applied Sciences and as an education manager in private colleges. She has collaborated with companies as a Public Relations consultant. In recent years, she has been working in the telecommunications sector. She is married and has two children. Her first book, "The Little Airplane with a Cold," was nominated for the Children's Illustrated Book Award by Diavazo magazine in 2009.
