Konstantinos S. Papanikolaou

Konstantinos S. Papanikolaou was born in Athens. He holds a Ph.D. in Modern European History from the Department of History and Archaeology at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH). He works as a postdoctoral researcher at Freie Universität Berlin (FU Berlin). He has taught Greek and Balkan history at both AUTH and FU Berlin. In the past, he worked as a research associate at the Society for Macedonian Studies and from 2007 to 2010, he represented AUTH in the European network CLIOHRES-net in the working group "Frontiers and Identities." His research interests focus on the history of ideas, the relations between the Balkans and the German-speaking world in the 19th and 20th centuries, and the history of the Macedonian Question.
