Sofia CHatzi

Sophia Chatzi was born in Piraeus. She graduated from the Drama School of the Piraeus Association and, at the age of 22, worked for two years as a volunteer director at the school of the Orthodox Greek Mission in Southern Congo. In 1992, a civil war broke out, and she was evacuated with colleagues to a neighboring country, from where she returned to Greece. Since 1992, she has been working as a radio producer at the Piraeus Church radio station. Her well-known works include the two children's books, "Moutoto 1 and 2." Her first book, "Moutoto 1," was translated into English. She is also involved in translation and writing articles. In 2014, she was awarded by the Archbishop of Athens, Mr. Ieronymos, for her contribution to children's literature.
