
Maria Maragou
Maria Maragkou (Alkippe) was born in Korydallos, Attica, in 1960. She graduated with honors from the School of Chemical Engineering at the National Technical University of Athens in 1983 and pursued postgraduate studies in Canada. She is proficient in English and French, and since 1988, after returning from Canada, she has been professionally involved in teaching English. She has been systematically studying philosophy since 1994, with a particular focus on the Greek language and the codes it conceals. Her engagement culminated in the writing of the work titled "Cratylus - On the Correctness of Names" (Heliodromio, 2015). Since 2008, she has been systematically studying Homer, focusing on the etymological analysis of words, mainly from the "Odyssey."
