Katerina Kousoula

Katerina Kousoula was born in Thessaloniki. She studied Archaeology and Art History at the School of Philosophy of the University of Thessaloniki and is a PhD candidate in Modern Art. She works as an archaeologist for the Ministry of Culture, at the Ephorate of Byzantine Antiquities in Thessaloniki. She has also worked as a philology teacher in secondary education. Her journey into poetry began in earnest in 2007, with her first poems published in the magazine "Parodos". This was followed by the release of her first poetry collection "Zitimata Kymaton" by Epsilon Publications and the publication of her poems in literary magazines. Issue 45 of "Parodos" in June 2011 was dedicated to her poetry. In December 2011, her poetry collection "Armodio Soma" was published as number 19 in the "Mikros Astrolavos" series by Efthini Publications.
