Miltiadis Tsapogas

Miltiadis Tsapogas is an author, columnist, and photographer. In the distant past, he was a member and coordinator of the Pytheas exploration team. As an author, he made his debut through Nikolaos Koumartzis's work "Castles and Legends in Greece," writing about the castle town of Monemvasia. He is the author of the book "Stone and Sword" (Daedaleos Publications), the main author and photographer of the book "Unknown Peloponnese" (Oxy Publications), and has contributed to the collective works "Secret Greece – Strange Traveler" (Archetypo Publications), "Alchemy – The Secret Art of the Wise" (Archetypo Publications), and "Strange Greece" (iWrite). Additionally, he has showcased numerous photographs in personal exhibitions focusing on the medieval monuments of the Peloponnese (Cultural Center of Kalamata 2019, "Cisterna Rubea" Castle 2019, organized by nARTura) and co-presented with Nikolaos Koumartzis in the Old Town of Rhodes in 2010, as part of the island's Medieval Festival (organized by Medieval Rose). He has collaborated as a columnist with nationwide magazines such as Phenomena (a supplement of the newspaper Eleftheros Typos), GEO, Mandragoras, Mystery, Forbidden History, Aoton, as well as with the Messinian magazine Orion. His articles have also been published in other newspapers (or magazines) in the country, such as the newspaper Voice of Messinia, the Rhodian (Daily Morning Newspaper of Rhodes), Messinian Word, among others. Finally, since mid-2019, he has been collaborating monthly with the magazine of the Roman Catholic Church of Patras, Patras Horizons, writing articles on the medieval castles of the Peloponnese.
