
Misha Glenny
Misha Glenny is a distinguished journalist and historian. As the author of three books on Eastern Europe and the Balkans, he has been repeatedly called upon to assist as an expert by the U.S. government as well as European governments on major political issues. For three years, he directed a non-governmental organization that contributed to the reconstruction of Serbia, Macedonia, and Kosovo. As a correspondent for The Guardian and later for the BBC in Central Europe, he observed and documented the fall of communist regimes and the wars in the former Yugoslavia. He has been honored with significant awards, including the Sony Gold Award for his exceptional contribution to journalism. He currently resides in London.
