Kostas Soueref

Kostas Soueref (Corfu, 1952) studied archaeology and history in Greece and Italy. He holds a Ph.D. in History and Archaeology from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and works as an archaeologist in Thessaloniki. He publishes monographs and essays related to his field of expertise and has also released poetry collections. He translated Umberto Eco's "The Scandal of Culture" (Paratiritis, 1992) and Pablo Neruda's poetry collection "Todo el amor" (Epsilon, 1993). Since its inception in 1980, he has been a regular contributor to the magazine "Porphyra," providing articles, studies, and presentations on film theory.
