Lia Mela

Lia Mela is a graduate of the Faculty of Law at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and the Faculty of Philosophy at the University of Ioannina. Her doctoral dissertation focused on the problem of justifying principles of justice in the philosophy of John Rawls. She teaches as a special scientist (P.D. 407/80) in the Department of Philosophy at the University of Patras and in the Department of Political Science at Democritus University of Thrace. Her research interests revolve around philosophical anthropology, ethics, and political philosophy.
