Marlena Politopoulou

Marlena Politopoulou was born in Athens in 1950. She studied political science at the University of Athens. She worked as a journalist for nearly twenty years in newspapers ("I Avgi," "Ta Nea") and on the radio (ERA). She taught at Panteion University and the University of Athens in the Departments of Communication and Mass Media. She has published novels and novellas. Since 2001, she has been the publishing director at the Hellenic Festival. She has been writing literature since 1985 and translates from German.
