Eirini Eystathiou

Eirini Efstathiou was born in Athens in 1980. She studied painting at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston and at Tufts University, where she received her Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in 2003. In 2004, she was awarded the Albert Henry Whiten Travelling Scholars Grant from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston. She is currently pursuing her graduate studies at the Athens School of Fine Arts. Efstathiou has participated in numerous group exhibitions in Greece and the USA. Among the most recent are the Portland Biennial (Portland Museum of Art, Portland, Maine) and the exhibition Selective Knowledge, held in collaboration with the ITYS Institute of Contemporary Art and Thought in Athens. Her works are part of public and private collections in Greece and the USA. Eirini Efstathiou lives and works in Athens.
