Panagiotis Moullas
Panagiotis Moullas (1935-2010) was born in Kilkis. He studied philology at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He was a research associate at the National Research Foundation in Athens (1961-1966) and lived for many years in Paris (1966-1977), where he taught Modern Greek at the University of Nanterre and the Modern Greek Institute of the Sorbonne. In 1977, he was appointed professor of Modern Greek philology at the Faculty of Philosophy of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, and from then on, he lived and taught in Thessaloniki. He passed away on Saturday, September 11, 2010, at the age of 75, leaving behind a rich body of philological work.
