Eleni Tzatzimaki

Eleni Tzatzimaki was born in 1986 in Athens. She studied Modern Greek Philology at the University of Athens and completed her postgraduate studies at the Sorbonne University (Sorbonne IV). As a philologist, she has worked in a program at the University of Thessaly aimed at teaching the Greek language and culture to immigrants, while also conducting research on Gender and Culture issues in Literature. Her first poetry collection, "The Magic of Buoyancy," was published in 2009 and was nominated for the Debut Author Award by Diavazo magazine (2010). She also participated in the First Festival of Young Writers organized by the National Book Centre of Greece (EKEBI) in 2011, as recommended by the magazine "Poetics." This was followed by the poetry collections "After Coming of Age" (Melani, 2012) and "To Whom Does a Story Belong?" (bilingual edition, Greek-English, Melani, 2015).
