David Bezmozgis

David Bezmozgis was born in Riga, Latvia. In 1980, he immigrated to Toronto with his parents. He earned a degree in English Literature from McGill University and a degree in Fine Arts from the University of Southern California's School of Cinematic Arts. His writings have been published in Harper's, The New Yorker, and The Walrus, and some were included in "The Best American Short Stories," 2005. His short story collection titled "Natasha" received critical acclaim. He lives in Toronto.
